Manchester Township Honors Veterans at Annual Ceremony
Continuing a proud annual tradition in Manchester Township, our hometown United States Service Members were honored during a moving Veterans Day ceremony at Town Hall on November 11, 2021. The enormous sacrifices our Veterans and their families make was honored during Mayor Robert Hudak's keynote address. The Mayor also highlighted the bravery of our Veterans and their willingness to stand up for their country during trying times. “In a world where we hear a lot of talk, our Veterans took action,” Mayor Hudak said. “Now, it’s our duty to ensure our Veterans receive the support and care they need. We must do our part for our Veterans. Trick or Treat Information
With #TrickOrTreat only a few days away this Sunday, October 31, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., we would like to offer some tips to ensure everyone has a safe and fun-filled day! • Plan costumes that are bright and reflective. • Make sure that shoes fit properly, costumes are short enough to prevent tripping, entanglement or contact with an open flame, costumes should not obstruct vision. • Children 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult. • Plan your route and share it with family members. • Carry a flashlight so you can be seen by others. • If possible, stay in groups and walk on sidewalks. If no sidewalk is available, use the farthest edge of the roadway. • Look both ways before crossing the street and try to cross only at corners. September 11th Remembrance Ceremony
This morning, to mark the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks and honor all of those lives lost, as well as to recognize the bravery and sacrifice of our fellow Americans that day and in years to follow, Mayor Robert Hudak, members of the Township Council, Chief Robert Dolan, and special guests joined our residents for a remembrance ceremony in the Municipal Complex courtyard. We paused this morning, all of these years later, to reflect upon those lives lost on that fateful day and in later years in service of our County. The names of each Ocean County resident lost on September 11th were read, including Manchester Township resident Cira Patti. September 11th Remembrance Ceremony
The community is invited to join Mayor Hudak and Manchester Township on Saturday, September 11th, at 9:45 AM, to honor the victims of September 11, 2001, with a remembrance ceremony at Manchester Town Hall, located on Colonial Drive. The ceremony will take place at the back entrance of Town Hall in our courtyard near the 9/11 monument.

TOWNSHIP COUNCIL MEMBER – Resumes are being accepted by the Manchester Township Council for the purpose of filling a vacancy created by the appointment of one of its members as Mayor, for the un-expired term that ends on December 31, 2026. Interested candidates should note that they will be appointed to the position until December 31, 2025 but will be required to run in the November 4, 2025 general election to fulfill the remainder of the unexpired term.
