Celebrating Manchester Day 2025
Thinking back to all the fun we had at Manchester Day this past weekend! Mayor Joseph Hankins and the Township Council were pleased to welcome so many of our residents to Harry Wright Lake for a fun-filled day shared with our community. With rides, vendors, activities, music from Kickin' Wing, and a spectacular fireworks display, it was a memorable day for all. Thank you to everyone who attended, organized, and sponsored this annual Manchester Township tradition, especially our amazing Manchester Recreation staff! We can’t wait for next year! As Mayor Hankins said, "events like Manchester Day remind us why our township is such a special place."
Structured Learning Experience Program Grad Honored
This week, Mayor Joseph Hankins had the honor of presenting a Proclamation to Charles Scott, a Manchester Township Super Senior who provided invaluable assistance to our Municipal Clerk's Office, in celebration of his graduation from Manchester Township High School! Charles participated in the High School’s Structured Learning Experience Program for the past two years, offering his time and talents weekly to assist in the Municipal Clerk’s Office. His dedication, work ethic, and attention to detail made him an invaluable member of the Clerk's team! We invite our residents to read the entire attached Proclamation to learn more about Charles and the great work that he did. Thank you, Charles, for your dedication to your Township and helping others! We all wish you the very best as you start your next chapter!
