2022 Memorial Day Ceremony

Year after year, we are always proud to see the tremendous support from so many in our community on Memorial Day. This morning's commemoration at Grand Army Memorial Park, Pine Lake Park, to honor those who bravely gave everything while serving our Country was moving, as always. During his keynote address, Mayor Robert Hudak honored the many service members, including residents of Manchester Township, who made the ultimate sacrifice or have suffered the loss of a loved one while in service to our Country. "Our duty is not only to keep their memory, but the cause for which they gave their lives," said Mayor Hudak. "We should not simply remember our beloved dead for a few moments today, but live our lives in service to others. Free Tree Seedlings for Residents

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                                      Contact: Department of Public Works        April 14, 2022                                                                                             732-657-8121       “New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign Provides Free Tree Seedlings to Residents in Manchester Township”   Manchester Township - Free tree seedlings will be available to Manchester residents in the month of April as part of the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign. This program helps communities replace trees damaged or destroyed by Superstorm Sandy.   From 9 AM to 3 PM on Friday April 22 and Saturday April 23 residents will be able to pick up tree seedlings at town hall (1 Colonial Drive).   Seedlings are available on a first come, first served basis, and also come with instructions on how to store, care for, and plant them. The guides help residents choose the right place on a property to plant a tree while keeping in mind the tree’s full-grown size in the future. [...]
