Emergency Responders Honored
The heroic efforts of all Manchester Township emergency responders, from volunteer to career, in battling the Jimmy's Waterhole wildfire were recognized by Mayor Rob Arace with a Proclamation presented during the May 8, 2023, Township Council meeting. These brave individuals received a well deserved standing ovation from Members of Council, as well as the public in attendance. A grateful Township thanks you for all that you do!
Mayor Arace Issues Proclamations
Mayor Rob Arace was honored to present two Proclamations at the April 24, 2023, Township Council meeting in recognition of individuals who work tirelessly in betterment of our community! First, Clerk Teri Giercyk accepted a Proclamation recognizing Professional Municipal Clerks Week. Teri and her staff play a critical role in our Township, serving "as the information center on functions of local government and community." Next, the Mayor recognized our Public Safety Telecommunicators, presenting a Proclamation to Supervisor Stephanie Norton. PSTs are often referred to as the "first, first responders" who answer calls for help, obtain accurate information, and coordinate the appropriate response. Take a look at the attached Proclamations for more details on what our Office of the Clerk and Communications Section do for our residents! Thank you to these dedicated professionals for serving our Township!
