On August 26, 2024, Mayor Rob Arace and the Township Council were proud to recognize the dedicated Buildings and Grounds crew who keep all of our public spaces in pristine condition! It's important that we can take pride in these spaces utilized by our employees and community on a daily basis, so thank you to Public Works Director Al Yodakis, General Foreman Donald Thomas, and all of the Buildings and Grounds staff for your tireless efforts. The Proclamation, accepted by General Foreman Thomas on behalf of his staff, reads, in part, "their dedication and hard work are vital to the well-being of our community, and we honor their ongoing commitment to excellence." From landscaping, maintenance, repairs, and so much more, the Buildings and Grounds crew plays a vital role in making Manchester Township a safe and welcoming place for all!

We had a great time at National Night Out yesterday with our Manchester Police officers, Mayor Rob Arace, the Manchester Recreation crew, Manchester Division of Emergency Services members, our volunteer responders, and our friends from the Lakehurst Police Department! National Night Out is an initiative that seeks to strengthen the bond between residents and law enforcement, while fostering community bonds. The event offers a great opportunity for the community to get to know our officers in a relaxed and fun setting. Additionally, it was great to see special guests such as Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Bradley Billhimer and State Senator Carmen F. Amato Jr. Thank you to everyone who came out for this annual community tradition!
