Mayor Arace Takes Oath, Outlines Administration’s Goals at Reorganization Meeting
Incoming Mayor Robert Arace and members of the Township Council outlined their visions for Manchester Township in 2023, as Oaths of Office were administered and plans for the upcoming year were presented during the January 3, 2023, Reorganization Meeting held in the Municipal Complex Courtroom. As the first order of business, Mayor Arace took his Oath Office in front of family, friends, Township employees, and honored guests. "I want to thank every single resident of Manchester Township for trusting me as Mayor," said Mayor Arace in his public remarks. Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony 2022
Thanks to everyone who shared in making our annual #TreeLighting Ceremony yesterday a hit! As always, we were glad to see so many of our neighbors and friends come together to celebrate the holiday season with music, fun, and a special visit from Santa himself. Manchester Recreation never fails to impress, and their 2022 winter wonderland at Town Hall was no exception. This year was extra special as the Township's new holiday tree was ready to make its debut, adorned with 3,400 lights! Mayor Robert Hudak welcomed all those in attendance, and on behalf of all of us at Manchester Township, conveyed warm wishes for a joyful and healthy holiday season. Manchester Celebrates Veterans Day 2022
Continuing a proud annual tradition in Manchester Township, our hometown United States Service Members were honored during a moving Veterans Day ceremony at Town Hall on November 11, 2022. "Today we honor and celebrate those who served and returned home, and their families, and their service. We can thank the millions of Americans who strengthen our nation with their example of service and sacrifice," said Mayor Robert Hudak during his keynote address. "Long after their discharge, many of our veterans continue to contribute to our community," the Mayor continued, noting that many transitioned to roles of service as First Responders. Roger P. POW-MIA Recognition Day
Today, September 16, 2022, in honor of POW-MIA Recognition Day, Council President Joan Brush and Councilwoman Michelle Zolezi joined with Rolling Thunder Chapter 4 members in a chair dedication at Manchester POW-MIA Park. Also in attendance were Arthur and Stan from the Mayor's Veteran's Committee, the Manchester Police Color Guard and marine Sgt. Anthony Rodriguez from Congressman Chris Smith's office.
