All municipalities have a DEP issued Tier A Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit with numerous deadlines approaching. ANJEC has partnered with Rutgers Water Resource Program in developing a Rancocas Creek Watershed Restoration and Protection Plan (RCWRPP).

The RCWRPP will aid your municipality in developing its own Watershed Improvement Plan as required by its MS4 permit, but we need your input.

Do you know of areas that flood with every storm? Are there erosion issues along roadways, lakes or streams? Are your storm drains functioning? Is there a need for new or better infrastructure (nature-based or traditionally built) to deal with stormwater runoff? Looking for input in urban, suburban and rural landscapes.

Once Registered you will also receive a draft map of your municipality that identifies potential green infrastructure projects identified by the Rutgers team which can help with stormwater management and improving water quality of the Rancocas Creek Watershed.
