COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Offered at Manchester & Ocean County Libraries
The Ocean County Health Department (OCHD) and Ocean County Library are hosting Covid-19 Vaccine Clinics at local library branches. Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer vaccines for individuals age 12 and older are eligible to receive the vaccines. NO APPOINTMENT is necessary and WALK-INs are welcome. (The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines require two-doses). COVID Vaccinations Available in Whiting – 5/14/2021
Please be advised that Covid-19 Pfizer Vaccinations (two doses) will be available: Friday, May 14th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, with 2nd doses scheduled for Friday, June 4th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. Vaccines will be administered by personnel from Medical Mall Pharmacy, Toms River. Pre-registration is preferred to insure enough vaccinations are available. Registration can be completed at: MedicalMallPharmacy.com or by calling the Church office, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 732-350-5001. Township Council Reorganizes for 2021
Coming off of a challenging year in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its far-reaching impact, the Manchester Township Council is looking forward to focusing on restoring normalcy in 2021. The Council members reorganized for the new year during their January 4, 2021, meeting held virtually via Zoom due to COVID-19 safety precautions. Congratulations to Council Members Sam Fusaro, James A. Vaccaro Sr., and Robert Hudak, who took their Oath of Office during the meeting. All were re-elected in the General Election held on November 3, 2020. Following the Oaths, Councilman Craig Wallis was elected to lead as Council President and Councilwoman Joan Brush was elected Vice President.
