WELCOME TO MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP
Manchester Township is located in beautiful Ocean County, New Jersey, just minutes from the Jersey Shore and
in between New York City, Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Manchester is nestled in the New Jersey Pinelands and we are Ocean County’s best kept secret!
We thank you for your interest in Manchester Township
Beautiful Parks, Lakes, and Preserved Open Space, our top notch municipal services and our vibrant and dynamic community makes Manchester a great place to live, work, and raise a family. That is why the June 2012 edition of Inside New Jersey, a monthly publication of the Star Ledger, rated Manchester Township as such a great place to retire in New Jersey. Manchester Township offers something for everyone!
The goal of our website is to provide you with information about our municipality. Here you can learn about the many departments we have and the services that we offer. This is the hub where you will find a vast amount of information about our local government at your convenience and your leisure.

Celebrating National Library Week
Happy National Library Week! From April 7-13, 2024, we recognize the importance of libraries and the positive impact they have on our community. Mayor Rob Arace recently presented a Proclamation to Rachel Cantor of the Ocean County Library in appreciation of all the services our local libraries provide. Best of all, the Ocean County Library Manchester Branch is conveniently located by the Municipal Complex, so make sure to stop by and check out all they have to offer or visit their website at http://theoceancountylibrary.org/!

Recognizing National Vietnam War Veterans Day
Today, on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, we pause to honor those who served and sacrificed for our country during the Vietnam War. Mayor Rob Arace had the privilege of presenting Roger Grenier, who represented the Manchester Township Veterans Advisory Committee, and Councilman Craig Wallis, a Vietnam Veteran, with a Proclamation at this week's Township Council meeting in recognition of the day. We remain grateful, always, to all who serve our country, including many of our Manchester Township residents. We humbly thank you.
