Trick or Treat is only a couple of weeks away in Manchester Township, to be held on October 31, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.! We would like to offer some tips to ensure everyone has a safe and fun-filled day! • Plan costumes that are bright and reflective. • Make sure that shoes fit properly, costumes are short enough to prevent tripping, entanglement or contact with an open flame, costumes should not obstruct vision. • Children 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult. • Plan your route and share it with family members. • Carry a flashlight so you can be seen by others. • If possible, stay in groups and walk on sidewalks. This morning, in commemoration of the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th attacks and in honor of those lives lost, as well as to recognize the bravery and sacrifice of our fellow Americans that day and in the years to follow, Mayor Rob Arace, members of the Township Council, Chief of Police Robert Dolan, Department Heads, Volunteer Fire Company members, and special guests joined our residents for a remembrance ceremony at the Manchester Town Hall.
