CFO Lapp Honored with Proclamation Presented by Mayor Hankins
Congratulations to CFO Diane Lapp, who was honored with a Proclamation from Mayor Joseph Hankins in recognition of her many years of outstanding financial stewardship in service of Manchester Township and our residents! CFO Lapp accepted the Proclamation before the Township Council, her dedicated staff, fellow department heads, and family during this week's regular Council meeting. The Proclamation notes that Manchester Township was honored with the Certificate of Excellence from DAC Bond, in recognition of a decade of "outstanding commitment to continuing disclosure reporting for municipal bonds," and that this achieve was "a direct result of the hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment of our CFO and Director of Finance, Diane Lapp." "I really do appreciate it. Please be advised that Manchester Township, a municipality in Ocean County New Jersey, will be offering two properties for sale to the highest bidder. Anyone wishing to bid must deliver, on or before, 10am on Monday November 3, 2025, a sealed bid with their best offer for the property. Bids must be addressed to Teri Giercyk, Manchester Township Municipal Clerk, and must clearly state on the outside of the envelope that it is a sealed bid, for Property A, or Property B, to be opened at 10am on November 3, 2025. If anyone is bidding on both properties, each bid must be in a separate sealed envelope. Each bid must contain the following information:
- Name, Address, email and phone number of the bidder.
- The total amount being offered for the property.
- A certified check, cashiers check or money order for 10% of the total amount offered.
