Thanks to everyone who shared in making our annual #TreeLighting Ceremony a hit! As always, we were glad to see so many of our neighbors and friends come together to celebrate the holiday season with music, holiday snacks, and a special visit from Santa himself. Manchester Recreation never fails to impress, creating a winter wonderland each year at Town Hall!
As Ken Palmer, Mayor of Manchester reminded us in his remarks, the holiday season is a special time to come together with friends, family, and our community. Sharing that sentiment, we’re thankful for everyone who attended and shared in this special event!
Special guests included Council President Craig Wallis, Vice President Joan Brush, Councilman Sam Fusaro, as well as Reverend Rittinger who offered the opening Invocation. Incredible holiday performances were given by the Avenue to Broadway Dancers, Manchester High School Brass Quintet and Saxophone Quartet, Cub Scout Pack 44, Manchester School Chorus, and Cassidy Gobel. Check out the live video clips below!
A special “Thank You!” goes out to Joe Tomei, La Bove Grande, Pines at Whiting, Crestwood Manor, Manchester Manor, Whiting Healthcare, Manchester First Aid, Manchester Social and Senior Services, Manchester Municipal staff, Manchester Volunteer Fire Company, and Manchester Buildings and Grounds staff.
We wish everyone a very happy holiday season!
