Anything Goes

The Manchester Municipal Alliance hosted the first annual “Anything Goes” obstacle course competition at Manchester Township High School on March 11, 2016. MTHS seniors battled school administrators, police, and our Mayor, in a fundraising competition to support the Manchester Municipal Alliance. The Alliance works to eliminate drug issues in the community and prevent our youth from involvement with drug and alcohol use. The competition ended in a “tie” between the students and local leaders. Manchester Township High School seniors were the stars of the show, but local leaders provided stiff competition. Manchester Mayor Ken Palmer, Township Business Administrator Donna Markulic, Superintendent of Schools Dave Trethaway, Chief of Police Lisa Parker and Officer Chris Cerullo, Safety Officer Ryan Maloney, Principals Dennis Adams and Linda Waldron, Director of Curriculum Diane Pedroza and others, participated in the event to show their support for our local students. The Municipal Alliance hosts the well-known “Project Graduation” event each year. The community’s support is greatly appreciated.
