We had a blast at our annual #TreeLighting Ceremony tonight! As always, we were glad to see so many of our neighbors and friends come together to celebrate the holiday season with music, holiday snacks, and a special visit from Santa himself. Manchester Recreation has done it again, creating a winter wonderland at Town Hall!
As Mayor Kenneth Palmer reminded us in his remarks, now is the time to come together with friends, family, and our community. Thank you to everyone who attended and shared in this special event, including Council Vice President Craig Wallis, Councilman James A. Vaccaro Sr., and Councilwoman Joan Brush!
Performing were the Manchester High School Brass Quintet, Manchester School Chorus, Avenue to Broadway Dancers, and Evana Bogle. Reverend Rittinger offered the Opening Invocation.
We’d like to offer a special “thank you” to Joe Tomei, Shayna Gobel, Amber Lowe, Kayla Fata, La Bove Grande, Manchester First Aid, Manchester Vol. Fire Company, Manchester Buildings and Grounds Staff, Manchester Municipal Staff, Social and Senior Services Staff, AristaCare at Manchester, Whiting Healthcare, Pines at Whiting, and Crestwood Manor.
