Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM to 4PM (except holidays)

   The Records Department of the Manchester Township Police Department is staffed by three civilian employees. These dedicated personnel are charged with  maintaining the police filing system of incident, accident, juvenile reports. The Records Department also provides these essential services.
 

Handicap Parking Permits (Temporary Only)

  • Application forms can be obtained from the Records Section.
  • Individual fills out the application, and the Doctor completes his portion.
  • Return completed form to Township Police with a check or money order for $4.00                                     Payable to:  NJ  Motor Vehicle Commission (No Cash).
  • Applicant will receive placard the same day.

 
 

Accident or Incident Reports

  • Please allow 5-7 working days before picking up report.
  • Reports can be picked up from the Records Section during hours listed above.
  • Reports can be picked up after 4PM if you call the Records Section in advance and request a late pickup.

Firearms Application (First Time)

  • Applications can be obtained from the Records Section
  • A Money Order in the amount of $60.25, is required and payable to the- Division of State Police- SBI.
  • Firearms ID Card - Change of Address $18.00
  • Fee for the ID Card is $5.00 Cash or Check (Payable to Manchester Township Police Dept.)
  • Fee for Handgun is $2.00 per Handgun, Cash or Check (Payable to Manchester Township Police Dept.)

FINGERPRINTING

Fingerprinting is available for Citizen Fingerprinting, for a Firearm License or Job Application. This service is limited to Township Residents and those seeking employment  with the Township.

 Fingerprints are taken on Wednesdays

Between 9:00am and 4:00PM           No Appointment Necessary
