MANCHESTER EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

Manchester Township Emergency Management coordinates the emergency response activities of the municipal and volunteer entities to ensure protection of Life and Property in extreme emergencies. This Office is also tasked with planning on all hazards that may approach to include, but not limited to Natural, Manmade, Technological Disasters, as well as National Security Crises.

Incorporated Into This Planning Process, is the Overall Basic Plan with the requires annexes:

The Basic Plan and annexes are continuously updated as changes are being made. Along with this task and in cooperation with the various developments in town, and the Inter-Agency Coalition of Emergency Management, a very extensive list of

SPECIAL NEEDS

population has been developed.

As of November 1, 2007, the total number of people having Special Needs currently stands as three thousand, four hundred eighty five (3,485).

A Special Need could be something as simple as transportation, to someone who requires life support. This office strongly encourages any resident with a Special Need to contact this office to register. It is better to register now, than waiting for a emergency to occur.

The Emergency Management Office is always willing to speak to any organization on the subject of Emergency Management and Emergency Preparedness.
